Black and White

Hello all! At So Artful Challenges we're being asked to create in black and white, although I'm crazy for colours I love the simplicity of black and white so I've created a couple here. I prefer the freedom of the black and white piece below, although my family seem to like the top one best.

Below is a dragon created by my son Noa (aged 14).

I had to add some colour for this post so here are some summery pictures, my favourite comfy flops:

and Lulu's pretty feet!

Lulu in a little Summer's dream

and my great lads having fun as always! Noa the buried boy and Liam on the right.

When we were at the beach we came across this star fish, it's the first one I've ever found!

Your black and white pictures are beautiful, my fave is the second one, and your son's dragon is marvelous. Love the photos of your sweet kids, too, so good to see their smiling faces. Hugs, Valerie

What a lovely blogpost.
Your two black and white picture are really good, with your original designs, all-over and individually. I think I am leaning towards the second one too, although it's a close thing. There is a lovely relaxed proficiency about the second. Thanks for joining in the Soartful challenge and taking the challenge to make a non-colour artwork.
I like your two pictures of shoes, shoes for a sunny, dry climate, both gorgeous.
And of course it is a delight to see all three of your children, what a wonderful family you have.

Hi, Noa, love your dragon, he looks very fierce and as if he is going somewhere in a hurry. Maybe he's late for an important appointment?
I wish I could draw like that.

I've been thinking of painting our wood floors in the new/old house all day and stenciling them and your black and whites would make such great painted "rugs". Love the pics of the kids. Cute shoes. xox

I love your black and white art..stunning and visually stimulating..the first conjured feelings of music and piano keys/piano sheet music energy..and the second felt gentle and peaceful..made me think of nature and butterfly energy!
