Hello! It's week 2 at Summer of Colour and this week the colours are: coral, teal and bright white. So I came up with this piece which reminds me of a Summer's storm. The darkness and fresh humid air after the dry heat and then the violence as it sloshes down. I love the smell of the damp ground, that earthy scent and the delightful freshness that comes with a Summer's storm. We had this during the week-end after such a dry hot week. It was delightful to let in the fresh air again and Lulu loved the darkness, thunder and lightning. It was exciting for her, we even had a little walk in the rain.
This is another piece I doodled last night and coloured in today. The flowers are rejoicing after the Summer rain and just before going to bed the sun pops out to say good night!
