Honey Windows

I've been looking through honey windows lately busy making art for my cousin who makes her own delicious honey.
Making art for others is a challenge, but for it to work I have to loosen up and let Dreamcolour Kat do her bit!

After many trials we finally chose this one which I'm linking to Art Journal Journey where the theme is "through my window" chosen by Corrine from Sparkle Days Studio.
My windows have been full of honey, bears and bees lately.

What a perfectly lovely view though your honeycomb windows dear Kat!
Bees and honey are so precious along with cute bears too.
Lucky you to have a special honey connection.
You are right about just doing what you do...I understand the feeling of apprehension when creating with someone else in mind.
You did great!

Oh, this is beyond anything, I would buy this honey immediately as it has been collected by such a happy busy bee, cheered along by her friends, two smiling teddy bears. This is priceless, Kat, very much your own art but something a bit different too.

How marvelous your page. Honey wonderful I'd say. Cutest bears and bees. Honey combs are like little windows to the frenetic bee hive activities. How nice to have a cousin with honey! Yum. xox

hello dear Kat,
how fun that you made are for someone else. i love what you said about loosening up. It really came out charming.

i am visiting friends and family at the moment. one friend wanted me to do a piece for her that will go on a t-shirt. it was fun having her look at it and tell me this and that. it is not finished yet. i am sure to share it when it is complete. lovely end of summer to you and your family.
