Une Maison

From brown to green I gaze outside.
Just being,
stillness,
silence.

I watch the trees dance in the wind,
sweet bird song and April's light bright with promise.

Season of growth and change
I stare and wonder at time.

I dream softly breathing in green and feeling its healing strength spreading through.

I did this journal piece with pastels enjoying the movement, simple lines and just a little bit of color to show the signs of Spring green spreading slowly through the village.

The lines may be simple, but they are wonderful! There is something liberating and exciting about these kinds of loose lines! Wonderful work!

Lovely work and something different again, Kat. Your art seems to come from the heart and from a great ability to create original scenes which are other-worldly.
Your words are themselves art.
