Autumn light is here,
I feel the glow deep inside
Let me smell the earth.
We have still been enjoying warm sunshine and golden days here in the South of France, but mornings and evenings are colder and Autumn plays softly showing her mellow light and soft beauty.
I sketched this little piece this week and dabbed on some water colors to capture some of the magic that lies deep in our forests and country sides.
It's mushroom and pumpkin days, enjoy the earthy notes of this season!

Oh I love the magical feel of this painting...great colors and movement!! Our leaves are finally turning with the first few cool days here in British Columbia!

Those are definitely happy fall colors. :) It snowed here today in Kansas, which was a surprise. It didn't stick, but it was fun to see while it lasted. Winter is coming!! Bundle up, Kat. :)
