One icy cold night
when all was so still and white
you stood tall and bright.
I doubled this tree for more effect. A naked tree is so very beautiful spread high or twisted and gnarled like a wise old woman. I love trees in all seasons but especially in the Winter when they are bare and black against a pale blue wintery dusk sky, their branches twisting in all directions. Dear old trees, bless you each and every one.

Just gorgeous - love that icy blue sky and the bare trees. I don't like winter much - but a friend showed me the gorgeous symmetry of the winter trees as they reach up with their bare branches. Happy PPF
