This one was a real experiment, just paint brush, colours and play! That, let's just let loose feel. It started off as something and changed as I kept painting. It's ended up quite an abstract piece, but there's something about it that appeals to me so I thought I'd share it with you.

She's wrapped up for winter staring at the moon. It's been colder than usual here, very wintery and I've been enjoying this winter's feel, the light...the depth, the magic of winter and full moon nights.

The trees twist and sway becoming frozen in a day.

I stare at the moon and delight in its glow.

The whiteness and roundness,

What a beautiful show,

A magic spell for winter nights,

When flakes they fall fat and ripe.

Winter storms rage all around,

The world is silenced,

Muffled,

The new snow so fresh and pure, white and beautiful, crisp and cold. Make your foot prints, feel your feet sink in, listen to the silence, the creak of a branch, the world transformed magically over night.

This piece is a real wintery scene, when I look at it I can smell the icy air and wood smoke.

Hello,

here's a piece finally finished after a long wait. Our baby girl Lucia was born on the 30th May, so have been fully enjoying her.

Still great to be back to my paints, those special rendez-vous, time for me, just lovely!!
